It should work, but certain things like internet and stuff probably won't work... I know t-mobile has a sidekick prepaid plan, so that would probably be what you want to go with. But keep in mind prepaid is incredibly expensive, the minutes can add up real fast unless you don't use your cell phone much. I can blow through 1,000 minutes in 10 days (i counted) and thats mainly because I have a girlfriend lol. You just don't realize how many minutes you use... if it is a tmobile phone then i know you can use any prepaid sim with your sidekick, as well as you can use any phone, even a prepaid phone for your sim. i dont know about any other services except Verizon. i know they do not use sim chips
